Mrs. Carter Christens ‘Largest’ Cruise Ship

MIAMI — Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter christened the world’s largest cruise ship Friday, sending a mammoth bottle of champagne crashing against the side of the vessel.
The Sovereign of the Seas, a $186-million vessel built for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, sets sail for St. Thomas and San Juan, Puerto Rico, this weekend with the Jimmy Carter family aboard.
