A former security consultant to Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr. went on trial in Boston on charges of helping hide credit card and loan fraud by the political extremist’s 1984 presidential campaign staff. Roy Frankhauser, 48, of Reading, Pa., is charged with conspiring to obstruct justice by allegedly ordering LaRouche supporters to destroy evidence and flee the country to avoid questioning by investigators.
