Two suspected Basque separatist guerrillas, a man and a woman, were killed by their own car bomb as they apparently prepared an attack in the center of the Spanish city of San Sebastian, police reported. Police said the victims were carrying false identity documents and might have been planning an attack against police officers checking a bomb warning telephoned earlier. The victims are believed to have been members of the separatist group ETA (Basque Homeland and Freedom).
