Alhambra Sets Hearing on Sign Ordinance
Alhambra City Council will conduct a hearing at 7:30 p.m. Monday on a proposal to change the city sign ordinance to allow businesses to use temporary sighs for up to 60 days during sales events.
The revisions would allow businesses to hang banners and to install professionally printed signs and posters in windows. In addition, businesses outside the down town area could use portables signs.
The proposal, supported by the Planning Commission, would prohibit the use of flags, streamers, pennants and balloons.
