A free guide for parents of TV-watching tots will be offered through the Corp. for Public Broadcasting, it was announced Tuesday. “TV Tips for Parents,” also available in Spanish, is designed to make parents aware of children’s programming offered on public TV, which the corporation hopes will boost station memberships. Guide tips, how to set a child’s TV schedule, make public TV a companion for “latch key” children and how to incorporate writing with television. The pamphlet can be obtained by writing to the CPB in Washington.
