2 Die in Apparent Murder-Suicide

A Chatsworth couple died Sunday in an apparent murder-suicide after an argument, police said.

Their bodies were found sprawled on the front steps of a mobile home in the 21500 block of Lassen Street in Chatsworth Mobile Home Park at about 9:15 p.m., Detective Russ Lyons said.

Names of the couple were not released pending notification of relatives, police said.

The 53-year-old woman was shot three times in the upper torso, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The man, 33, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, Lyons said.
