This Time, TV Viewers Were the Losers
Larry Stewart alluded to the poor marathon coverage by KCOP, and I would like to add my extreme disappointment about the poor coverage of the women’s race. I was astounded by the manner they portrayed the race and discounted Sylvia Mosqueda’s effort. Instead of having a camera follow the leader, they decided to follow Nancy Ditz, who was in second place.
As all marathoners know, there are no losers in the race--but this time we the viewers were losers of the Los Angeles Marathon.
