Temple’s Blackwell Is Atlantic 10 Player of Week

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Nate Blackwell, a 6-foot-4 senior guard from Temple, Sunday was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week.
Blackwell averaged 22 points and 6.5 assists per game in leading the Owls to two league road victories. Blackwell scored 21 points and handed out 10 assists in a 73-70 overtime victory over Penn State and scored 23 points in a 67-57 victory over West Virginia.
