Greg Louganis bounced back from a rare loss to win the 10-meter platform event in the U.S. Diving-American Cup II, and Wendy Lucero captured the women’s three-meter title at Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Louganis, who trains in nearby Boca Raton, finished third in Saturday’s springboard event, but won the platform event with 617.70 points. Bruce Kimball of Ann Arbor, Mich., was second at 597.70.

Lucero, also of Boca Raton, scored 523.70 points to beat Kelly McCormick of Columbus, Ohio, who had 500.10 points.
