Police are investigating the death of an Anaheim man who suffered head injuries in a fight a week earlier.
Steven David Booms, 30, was treated by paramedics at about 6 p.m. Nov. 20 behind the Cobblestone Inn bar, 2053 E. Orangethorpe Ave., where he was reportedly fighting with another man, Placentia Police Lt. Chuck Babcock said.
He was taken to UCI Medical Center, where he died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators think Booms suffered the head injuries in the fight or as he fell in the parking lot.
An autopsy confirmed Wednesday that he died of head injuries, although he did not show signs of being severely beaten. No weapons are believed to have been used, Babcock said.
No one has been arrested in connection with the fight, and police are seeking witnesses.
