Charles D. Miller, chairman and chief executive of Avery International, Pasadena, has been elected a director of Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co., filling out the Newport Beach insurance and financial service company’s 16-member policy-making group.
Miller, 58, replaces the late J. W. Mailliard III, who died in August.
Pacific Mutual, a member of Pacific Financial Cos., is California’s oldest and largest mutual insurance firm with more than $29 billion of life insurance in force.
