ORANGE COUNTY SOUTHERN SECTION FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS : Esperanza Wins Home Rights

Esperanza High School won a coin flip Saturday and will play host to Santa Ana in the second round of the Southern Section Southern Conference playoffs Friday night in Placentia’s Bradford Stadium.
In other Southern Conference games Friday, top-seeded El Toro will travel to Paramount, Foothill will play Mission Viejo on Tustin’s Northrup Field and Loara will play at Lynwood.
In Central Conference action, Tustin will travel to Bolsa Grande, La Habra will play Anaheim in Glover Stadium, and Sunny Hills will play Saddleback at a site to be determined today. Top-seeded Valencia will play host to Artesia Saturday night.
In the Desert-Mountain Conference, both Woodbridge and Orange won coin tosses Saturday. The Warriors will meet Atascadero at Irvine High School and the Panthers will play Harvard in Orange’s Fred Kelly Stadium Friday night. All games start at 7:30.
