Fairfax Forward Commits to SMU

J. D. Green, a 6-foot 5 1/2-inch forward who averaged 18 points and 8 rebounds a game last season for Fairfax High School, has made a verbal commitment to play basketball for Southern Methodist.

Green, whose Fairfax team will be one of the top schools in the City this year, also visited DePaul and Washington.
