Superior Industries Lands $25-Million Added Orders

Superior Industries, a Van Nuys-based maker of auto-wheel rims, said it received $25 million in additional orders for the 1987 model year from General Motors and Ford.
Superior, which had sales of $112.8 million during the first nine months of 1986, said the new Ford orders will be for the Mustang, Cougar, Thunderbird and Ranger models. The GM orders are for the Chevrolet IROC Z-28 Camaro and Blazer, the Buick T-Type LeSabre and Riviera and the Cadillac limousine.
