GTI Corp. reported a loss of $14,000 for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, an improvement from the prior year’s third-quarter loss of $4.5 million. Revenue in the quarter was $4.1 million, about one-third of the $12 million reported in the third quarter of the prior year.

For the nine months, the loss was $164,000, compared to a loss of $338,000 in the prior year, and sales were $4.7 million, compared to $15.3 million in the nine months of the previous year.
