Stamford, Conn.-based Singer Co., a producer of aerospace electronic systems, said that the key factors in its operating results for the third quarter were the substantially higher revenue and earnings recorded by the aerospace electronics operations, which accounts for 80% of the firm’s business. “This primarily reflected the contributions of the Dalmo Victor and Allen divisions, which were acquired earlier this year to expand Singer’s base in high technology,” the a spokesman said.
