The Coliseum Commission has taken over operation of the six state-owned parking lots surrounding the Coliseum and Sports Arena.
The Commission has awarded the contract for running the lots to Five Star Parking, a locally based company. Five Star will operate the lots starting with the exhibition basketball game Thursday night between the Clippers and Detroit Pistons.
The lots previously were operated by the state.
