Chicago-based IC Industries reported a $259.6-million loss for the third quarter ended Sept. 30. The loss includes a $520-million extraordinary charge associated with the company’s restructuring. The company noted that five of its six subsidiaries, including Pet, Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers, Midas, Hussmann and Pneumo Abex, set records for sales and earnings from continuing operations.
