R.H. Estates : High School Law Class
A high school program called “Students and the Law” that was recently cut under budget restraints may be reinstated for the 1986-87 school year.
The City Council unanimously allocated $4,310 to continue the program at Rolling Hills High School and reintroduce it at Miraleste High where it was eliminated several years ago, provided that the cities of Rancho Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills also contribute to funding the class. Students from all three cities attend the two high schools.
The program, which was developed through the Lomita sheriff’s station, was designed to give students an understanding of the police and criminal justice system.
