SANDY HILL TO ‘CBS MORNING NEWS’
Sandy Hill, dropped as a news anchor at KCBS Channel 2 in January, will return to TV later this year as co-host of the “CBS Morning News.” She’ll take over when Faith Daniels goes on maternity leave, probably in late October, and will remain until the show goes off the air in December, CBS said.
Hill is no stranger to the morning news routine, having served as co-host of ABC’s “Good Morning America” in between stints as a Channel 2 anchor. She had rejoined KCBS in 1982 and worked as an anchor on various newscasts until being replaced by Bill Stout in January.
