Namesake Samuel Colt Dies at 76

Samuel Colt, son of actress Ethel Barrymore and grand-nephew and namesake of the Samuel Colt who invented the Colt revolver, died Aug. 1 at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 76.
Colt was an Army veteran of World War II who spent most of his professional life in theatrical and film productions.
