Ronald Reagan and his cabinet guys will gain strength, agility and bullet-proof skin when they take on terrorism in the first issue of “Reagan’s Raiders,” a comic book from Solson Publications to appear in mid-August.
George Bush, Ed Meese, Caspar Weinberger, George Schultz and Larry Speakes will join RR against the Worldwide Terrorist Organization (“a potpourri of every terrorist group”) led by Soviet-built cyborgs who invade America to sabotage its nuclear power plants.
The black-and-white bimonthly books will blend action and satire.
Solson hasn’t gotten the Prez’s permission, but publisher Gary Brodsky doesn’t foresee any problems with the White House.
“This will be the ultimate patriotic superhero book,” he promised.
