Despite a Victory, Strings Eliminated

The Strings were eliminated from TeamTennis playoff contention Tuesday night despite scoring a 30-18 victory over the Miami Beach Breakers at the Forum.
The win improved the Strings’ record to 4-8 and gave them the chance of ending the season 6-8, but the Sacramento Capitols’ 25-20 victory over the Oakland Aces assures them of finishing no worse than 7-7.
