A CBS News special on “The Burger Years” will air Wednesday at 8 p.m., marking the first in a series of programs to be sponsored by General Motors leading to the bicentennial celebration of the U.S. Constitution.
On the program, retiring Supreme Court Justice Warren E. Burger talks to Bill Moyers about constitutional issues, his own career and his role as chairman of the Commission on the Bicentennial of the Constitution.
On Sept. 21-21, General Motors also has full sponsorship of the two-part “George Washington: The Forging of a Nation” miniseries on CBS, starring Barry Bostwick and Patty Duke. The company also sponsored the first “George Washington” miniseries two years ago.
