Fewer than 24 hours after the Toronto Blue Jays and Atlanta Braves swapped pitchers Doyle Alexander and Duane Ward, the clubs exchanged right-handed pitchers Jim Acker and Joey Johnson.
Alexander and Acker have made no secret of their desire to rejoin Atlanta General Manager Bobby Cox, who formerly managed the Blue Jays.
