BRIEFLY : Fabricius Is Named Coach at Newbury Park

Gary Fabricius has been named varsity baseball coach at Newbury Park High, replacing Bob Hendricks, who resigned after taking the team to the Southern Section playoffs this past season. Fabricius, 28, has served as Hendricks’ assistant, co-coached the softball team and is an assistant coach with the school’s varsity football team.
