The ITC upheld penalties on Iranian pistachios.

Unanimous affirmation by the six members of the federal International Trade Commission upheld earlier punitive tariffs imposed on the imported nuts by the Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration last March and made retroactive to December. The total of a 99.5% penalty for unfair trade practices by Iranian exporters and a preliminary anti-dumping levy of 192.5% added up to payments of $2.36 for every $1 worth of nuts brought into this country.
