Two Taiwanese military helicopters collided during a military exercise and crashed into a rice paddy, killing 22 soldiers and injuring two, the Taipei newspaper Independent Evening Post reported. Military officials confirmed the collision, 21 miles southwest of Taipei, but not the casualties.
