AKRON, Ohio — Don Genalo jumped from 10th place into the lead after the second round in the $250,000 Firestone Tournament of Champions Wednesday night.
Genalo, a five-time champion out of Perrysburg, Ohio, averaged 224 for the first 16 games of the Professional Bowlers Assn. event and had a pinfall total of 3,589, just 24 pins ahead of Del Warren of Lake Worth, Fla.
Warren averaged 235 in the second round to move from 28th place to second with a 3,565 total.
