El Monte : Grant for Airport Projects

El Monte Airport has been awarded a $247,950 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for three improvement projects. The money will be used on beacon lights, storm drains and resurfacing of parking areas for planes, according to Rep. Matthew G. Martinez (D-Montebello).
