Redondo Beach : Expanded Pool Use Urged

The City Council has agreed to study a proposal to open the Mira Costa and Redondo Union high school pools to the public on weekday evenings and weekends.
The recommendation was made by Stevan Colin, chairman of the city’s public improvement commission, to meet what he called substantial community demand for recreational swimming pool facilities.
The proposal will be reviewed by the Recreation and Parks Department and the city manager’s office.
