CORONA — An overturned truck brought traffic on the Corona Freeway to a halt for nearly two hours Tuesday, blocking both lanes connecting the Riverside Freeway with the Chino-Ontario area.
Investigators believe that the truck’s driver, identified only as L. Bland, 32, of Wrightwood, “fell asleep and lost control of the vehicle,” said Officer Mike Devine of the California Highway Patrol.
The truck “overturned, blocking the entire roadway” from noon until about 1:45 p.m., Devine said. Bland received moderate injuries.
