New Zealand Chief Starts Indonesia Visit

JAKARTA, INDONESIA — New Zealand Prime Minister David Lange arrived on the tropical resort island of Bali on Sunday to begin a tour of Indonesia, Hong Kong, China and the Philippines to boost ties with key Asian neighbors.
Lange is scheduled to go on to Jakarta today, where he will be welcomed by Indonesian President Suharto.
