Tacason Pitches Chapman to Sweep

Casey Tacason was the winning pitcher in both games as Chapman College beat Cal State Bakersfield by identical 1-0 scores in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. softball doubleheader Saturday at Hart Park.

Leslie Burke hit an infield single to knock in Michelle Lyons with the winning run in the first game. Karen Yamaguchi also hit an infield single to knock in the winning run in the second game. Chapman (3-1, 16-5) plays in the Cal State Northridge tournament this weekend.
