Cypress College Hangs On for 11-6 Win

Cypress College gave up six runs in the ninth inning to College of the Desert Sunday, but hung on to win, 11-6, in a nonconference baseball game at College of the Desert.
Cypress (2-0) had 13 hits, including three by Mark Baca. Jim Jackle added two hits, including a home run. Starting pitcher Robby Jones went six innings for his first decision.
