Chapman Wins Twice in Tennis

Chapman College opened its tennis season Saturday with a pair of California Collegiate Athletic Assn. wins. The Panthers, defending ITCA Division II national champions and the top-ranked team in the country this season, beat Cal Poly Pomona, 7-2, in the morning and Cal State Los Angeles, 8-1, in the afternoon. Pomona is 0-2 in conference play and 0-3 overall; Cal State L.A. is 0-1.
