Garden Grove League : Rancho Alamitos Still Undefeated in League

Roger Carter and Randy Morales scored 22 points apiece as Rancho Alamitos remained unbeaten in Garden Grove League play with a 76-54 victory over La Quinta Friday night at Rancho Alamitos.
Lee Velasquez led the Vaqueros (6-0, 12-7) with 11 rebounds and 6 blocked shots.
Mike Whitcomb paced the Aztecs (2-4, 5-10) with 14 points.

Garden Grove 43, Santiago 42--Henry Fournier’s shot with a minute left gave the Argonauts the win at Santiago.
Fournier led the Argonauts with 11 points. Rick Burns and Pete Avila of the Cavaliers led all scorers with 18 apiece.
Garden Grove improved to 3-3 in league and 12-8 overall; Santiago dropped to 0-6 and 3-14.

Bolsa Grande 69, Los Amigos 63--The Matadors opened up a big first-quarter lead and then hung on for the win. Tom Afdahl, Hung Nguyen and Joe Small scored 18 points apiece for Bolsa Grande (5-1, 12-6). Steve Davis led the comeback attempt for Los Amigos (2-4, 9-9) with 26 points.
