PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles, despite fan objections, will reintroduce a season-ticket plan that includes two exhibition games.
The National Football League club said the two games will be included in a 10-game package for next season. Several years ago, the club dropped a similar plan because of fan opposition.
The Eagles have scheduled exhibition games against the Miami Dolphins Aug. 23 and the New York Jets Aug. 28.
In recent years, the team has drawn about 30,000 fans to the 72,000-seat Veterans Stadium for exhibition games.
