Arnold J. Scribner has been named president of the newly formed VSI Fasteners, Inc. in Stanton. He had been vice president and controller of Fairchild Industries’ VSI fasteners division for two years before a group of investors acquired the division in June. Scribner had been part of that investment group.

Scribner, 51, replaces Don Jaques, who has left the company. VSI is a supplier of retail packaged fasteners and rope products to home improvement and drug stores nationwide.
