Beliefs of Reagan Republicans

This Republican, embarrassed by this Administration, applauds Marie Macdonald. May I add to it?

--Are you a Reagan Republican? Do you believe:

--Women are second class citizens and must remain so.

--Ed Meese is a great Attorney General who is honest and ethical and believes in the Constitution.

--Taxpayers must continue to support tobacco production since use of the product kills only a few hundred thousand each year.

--Business is not responsible when it poisons our air, water and food and should not pay for the damage when it does.

--Religion must be taught in school so each kid can invent his own sect and get rich, tax free.

--Unions must be busted since it is morally invigorating to go to bed hungry and cold.

--Each good teacher deserves a medal but not money enough to live on.

--That “Star Wars” will work perfectly since everything that American industry produces works 100% of the time.

--The ex-servicemen who are dying from Agent Orange and from nuclear exposure are just unpatriotic whiners.

--Every child MUST pray in school since there is no time to do it at home or in church.

--We should adhere to the few parts of the Constitution that don’t conflict with our coercive, extremist beliefs; to hell with the rest of it.

--It is better to be stupid than ignorant because you’ll be happy in never knowing when you’re both.
