Burbank OKs Hiring of Media Area Consultant

The Burbank Redevelopment Agency has approved the hiring of a Seattle-based transportation planning firm to study traffic problems in and around the Media District.
The firm, TDA Inc., has completed a preliminary traffic analysis and identified measures to cope with congestion in the Media District, which is home to several movie studios and which city officials say is becoming increasingly congested with traffic.
Under the agreement with TDA, the firm will be paid up to $14,000, said Larry Kosmont, community development director.
