Lawrence L. Rodberg, former chairman and chief executive officer of Burlington Northern Air Freight of Irvine, has launched a new business, Eden Industries, to provide technical consultation to air freight companies and specialized packaging services to various industries. Eden is located in Newport Beach. Rodberg, 63, has appointed as vice presidents his sons Thomas, 36, and Jon, 28. Thomas Rodberg had been vice president of Burlington and most recently was vice president of Air Express International in Darien, Conn. Jon Rodberg had been a salesman with Brown Interpacific in Costa Mesa.
