COLOMBIAN FILM WINS AT RIO FEST

RIO DE JANIERO — The Colombian film “Tiempo de Morir” (Time of Dying) has won the Golden Toucan award for best film at the Rio international filmfest. Directed by Jorge Ali Triana from a screenplay by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, it tells of a man convicted of murder who, after serving his sentence, returns home only to find the sons of his victim hoping for vengeance.
