The Eyes Tell All About Raiders’ Offense
As I sat in front of my TV screen, I knew every time that Marc Wilson was going to hand off--and to whom--and I knew every time he was going to pass--and to whom. There’s no faking, no slight misdirection to slow or freeze the defenders. All they have to do is zero in on the first back to whom Wilson offers the ball. There’s no looking one way and throwing another, or sweeping the field with his eyes. All they have to do is watch his eyes as he concentrates only on the player he throws to.
Enough is enough.
