San Diego State Loses a Five-Set Match to Long Beach

San Diego State’s hope of finishing alone in fifth place in the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball standings ended Thursday night as the Aztecs lost, 8-15, 15-6, 15-2, 11-15, 15-12, at Cal State Long Beach.
The 49ers (8-8, 18-11) won, SDSU fell to 7-8 in conference play and 24-18 overall with one PCAA match remaining.
