Allan N. Lowy Will Head BIA’s Los Angeles Chapter

Allan N. Lowy has been elected president of the Los Angeles chapter of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California for 1985-86 and will be installed with other officers and directors on Saturday at the chapter’s annual installation dinner at Lakeside Country Club in Toluca Lake.
Lowy is president of Lowy Development Corp, a diversified developer of residential and commercial projects in Los Angeles.
Other officers serving the new term include Ted Cox, W&B; Builders Inc., first vice president; Harvey Steinberg, Inner City Planning & Development, vice president; Richard Garber, First Nationwide Savings, vice president; William Lockert, Resitec Inc., secretary; Sol Shye, Cal-Coast Development Group Inc., treasurer, and Frank Thompson, the Frank Thompson Group, immediate past president.
New members elected to the board are John Williams, Illig Construction Co; Herb Hirsh, Cambridge Development; Dale Eleniak, Ticor Title Insurance Co; Diane Wilson, Comarc Systems; Rhonda Morstein, Marketing Communication & Research Corp.; Glenn Lane, Lane Contractors Inc., and Irvin Garfield, Paragon Homes.
