Lucas Leads Blue in SCC Scrimmage

The Blue defeated the Gold, 84-81, in Southern California College’s intrasquad game Wednesday night in front of 203 in the Vanguards’ gym.
The Blue was led by Rob Lucas, a 6-foot 7-inch transfer Fullerton College, with 22 points. Ken Bardsley, a senior forward, had 16 points.
Jon Haar had 22 points, and Paul Hohmann added 21 for the Gold team.
The Vanguards, 25-2 last season, play host to Wassuck College of Nevada in their season opener next Thursday night at 7:30.
