SACRAMENTO — “Sky’s the Limit,” the $3-million, top-prize second game of the California Lottery, will start Nov. 14, lottery director Mark Michalko said today.
The new game will be played in exactly the same manner as the current “California Jackpot” game with scratch-off $1 tickets, he said. The only changes will be increasing the top prizes--awarded by the spin of the lottery wheel to some $100 winners--from $2 million to $3 million, and increasing the top scratch-off prizes from $5,000 to $10,000.
