REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Cameron Hooker’s alleged victim testified Thursday that she was stripped, bound, gagged, blindfolded, hung from a beam and chained to a rack after she was kidnaped at the start of her 7 1/2-year imprisonment in Red Bluff.
Testifying for the first time in Hooker’s trial on 16 felony charges, the Southern California woman also said Hooker whipped her when she said she could not eat the food he offered. Hooker sat with no visible display of emotion during the testimony.
Hooker, 31, is being tried in San Mateo County Superior Court. The trial was moved from Tehama County because of pretrial publicity.
