I was delighted that the L.A. Times devoted generous space to the review of “Under Gemini” (Book Review, Sept. 8). As you may recall, I wrote the introduction to that volume. And while I am pleased about the attention this magnificent poet received on the pages of your paper, may I point out the fact that Radnoti was a Hungarian poet who wrote in Hungarian only, and not in Serbo-Croatian, as was stated in the review. Mr. Funsten could not have read the volume very closely.
